NICK DIEDE

Founder/Head Coach


Nick Diede is well known as one of the top soccer trainers in North County California

With over 25 years of soccer experience Nicks unique and creative style of teaching provides his athletes with the proper technique, tactical understanding, and creative confidence needed to progress as soccer player. Nick's ability to connect with his athletes at a mentorship level has played an important role during his career as a soccer trainer. He can easily see the areas in which a player can improve and can quickly and effectively help his students reach their goals on and off the field. Nick owned and operated Momentum Training Center in San Marcos, CA before it was forced to close its doors due to Covid. His greatest passion is helping to develop a love for the game in a positive and supportive way through creative training techniques and his ability to demonstrate and break down all technical skills.

CHARITY SIMMONS

Head Coach


Charity received a full-ride scholarship for soccer to Utah State University. While there she earned several awards both on and off the field such as newcomer of the year, offensive MVP, All-conference 1st team, All Tournament team, Player of the week (WAC), Dean's list, and Joe E. Whitesides scholar awards all four years. Charity graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of science in Physical Education and Health.


After graduating she had the unique opportunity to go to England where she played for Watford FC for a year and had a great experience. Since high school Charity has had the opportunity to play for several WPSL teams in Utah, Colorado and California. During these times she played with and alongside some of the top female players in the game. While in high school she was invited to play with the Utah Spiders WPSL team and represent them playing in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Charity has experience coaching kids of all ages and has worked alongside Nick Diede the past couple of years where she has gained tremendous knowledge and skills to become a more qualified and well-rounded coach. Her unique style of training, skills and love of the game will help guide athletes to becoming elite players.

LUIS REYES

Coach


Luis graduated from San Diego State University earning his Bachelors of Science in Construction Engineering. While at SDSU he played a pair of seasons with the mens club team. Luis also attended Carlsbad High School where he played four years of varsity soccer earning All Avocado League honors and the teams Golden boot award his senior year. During his youth career Luis played for Carlsbad Wave, Encinitas Express, and Carlsbad Lightning teams respectively.


His life has been dedicated to soccer. After college Luis continued to play soccer and earned an opportunity to spend a summer in Italy training with Acqui Calcio of the Serie D. Luis also had a unique opportunity to train with Arsenal Academy coaches in London through Gatorades “Unreal Around the World” campaign. Lastly, Luis played a season in Spain at the semi-pro level with Alicante City FC.


His passion and love for soccer meant it became an objective to pursue coaching. He sees soccer as the best way to express himself, to make a statement, whether on the pitch as a player or on the sideline now as a Coach. Luis shares a common objective and outlook for our community of youth players, that is quality technical development for our kids to evolve into creative, elegant soccer players.

ANTONIO CHAVES

Coach


Antonio  or "Tone" is currently a member of the United States Beach Soccer National Team as well as a college soccer player at the University of Saint Katherine. He has played in various countries, including Portugal, Spain, Bahamas, United Arab Emirates, and many others, representing his team in beach soccer tournaments. Antonio is passionate about developing his skills as both a player and a coach and is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in May 2023. Antonio strives to empower young players by imparting the best techniques for every possible scenario on the field, enabling them to reach their fullest potential.
